Normal newborn care ☺

The normal newborn care aims to monitor the process of adaptation of the newborn is performed normally and help the mother to understand the characteristics of this period.

Overseeing the process of adaptation involves detection of changes that fall outside the normal range. This requires careful observation of the disturbance and global clinical condition of the newborn.

Newborn care includes at least a special assessment in four stages during the first days of life:

  • Immediate attention at birth
  • During the transition period (first hours of life)
  • To meet about 6 to 24 hours
  • Prior to being discharged from hospital with his mother.
